Dear friends and family,
This is a special request to help fund a critical surgery I am undergoing this week, to close a stage 4 pressure ulcer that has kept me lying in bed for 7 months.
Despite my challenges, I have not let life stop me. I completed my high school studies with distinction and served 2 years of national service with JNF-LOTEM in Emek HaShalom. After my service, I successfully completed my tour guiding studies in Haifa University. Thanks to the help of many kind and generous people, I was able to purchase a special wheelchair for tour guiding.
This past March, as a result of intensive activities, I developed a stage 4 pressure ulcer that caused a serious infection. In 7 months I underwent 3 surgeries.
The only solution I have so that my situation will not worsen and I can return to a normal life is to undergo a special yet costly surgery by the world renown Dr. Morris Topaz, who developed an innovative method to treat such sores. Unfortunately, I have been forced to wait months for this surgery, due to the sky-high costs of this specialized surgery.
Since time is critical, we decided that I would go ahead with the surgery this week, and not wait any longer. For this purpose, we opened a crowd-funding page with the hope that generous people will open their hearts as they see fit.
My family and I turn to you to contribute in any way possible. Your help will be a source of life for me!
May you be blessed with giving,
Raz and family
