My only dream is to keep smiling and I need your support
I am a 43-year-old woman, I am the daughter of Baruch & Dalia, Ravit, Moran & Chanan are my beloved sisters and brother, mother, and wife.
I have 2 beautiful little girls; Alex is 12 and Ella is 8
And my wonderful husband Dror.
I am a writer and creator of change for me and others.
I have been fighting bladder cancer since 2016 and in the last two years it has become metastasize throughout my body.
Since I have been diagnosed, I have been doing so much for my health. I write about my journey and help others to go on their own journey.
I support and meet a lot of cancer patients. I write a blog about all the changes in my body and soul that I go through, with this disease.
In the past two years I have tried so many different chemo procedures, that unfortunately worsen my condition.
In January 2021, we found a new targeted-chemo medication. I started this medication, and it changed my condition and now I am getting better after a very long time that even getting out of bed was a challenge.
The medication that brough me back to life is called PADCEV. The cost of this medication is $30,000 a month. In the past months we spent $150,000.
Although this medication is working very well for me, it did not enter to the medication basket in Israel.
There is a very big chance it will enter the medication basket in 2022 but until then I need your help.
In the past years we have spent a lot of money and effort to support my healing and take care of the girls as my youngest one was only 3 years old when I found out I had cancer.
Over the years we have spent a lot of money on treatments, acupuncture, herbs, supplements, organic, nutrition, workshops, studies, private counseling and more.
We ask for your financial support for Orit's expensive and lifesaving care.
Our fundraising goal is one million shekels ($330,330). The money is for the import of the drug from the USA and the medication needs to be taken every month until February 2022, in fact until the next discussion of the medication basket. The medication is given by infusion 3 times a month at Sheba “Tel HaShomer” Medical Center.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for opening your heart and for your participation in Orit's recovery. BLESS you for being part of the circle of giving. We all need help from time to time and it is a privilege to receive.
Any amount that you can spear will be gratefully welcomed and very helpful.
“All that I give is given to myself" – Lesson 126, Course in Miracles.
This is a wonderful idea from the course which talks about the power of giving.
Give forgiveness – receive forgiveness.
Give love – and love will return to you.
Give wealth – and abundance will be drawn to you.
